Our aesthetics nurses will never encourage you to proceed with a treatment unless you are 100% sure of your decision. We offer a full consultation with each appointment and you are under no obligation; discretion is assured. Your nurse practitioner will meet with you and discuss your goals. They will offer their expertise and advice on how to best achieve these goals and you will have an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

A full medical history will be taken by your nurse practitioner. Expectations and goals will be discussed, as well as contraindications, potential risks and side effects. With your consent, ‘before’ pictures will be taken. Depending on the treatment, strong numbing cream will be applied to the area being treated (for example if you are having a cosmetic filler treatment like lip enhancement) and you will be required to wait around 15-20 minutes for this to work. The area to be treated will be cleaned and your nurse practitioner will begin the treatment.
When the procedure is finished, a cream will be applied to the area to help reduce any swelling (where required) and with your consent, ‘after’ pictures will be taken. You will be given the option to attend a follow-up appointment in 2 weeks.

The results depend on the type of treatment. For cosmetic fillers, the results are immediate; for anti-wrinkle injection treatments, the results can be seen as early as 3-4 days post-treatment, however, it generally takes 7-14 days for the full effect.

Depending on the type of treatment, you can expect some minor swelling in the area for up to 7 days post-treatment.

As medical professionals, all safety factors are taken into consideration when providing treatments. The treatments provided at Elysium Clinic are administered by our highly qualified and medically trained professionals and are very safe. Your nurse practitioner will discuss any risks based on your medical history and any possible side effects with you at your consultation.
Anti-wrinkle injections have been used medically for other medical conditions for many years, such as excessive sweating and helping stroke patients recover. Cosmetic fillers have now been used safely in the industry for many years. The risk of allergy to cosmetic fillers and anti-wrinkle injections is very low.

Only FDA approved products are used at Elysium Clinic.

This is dependent on the type of treatment. Your nurse practitioner will provide you with full post-treatment aftercare and advice.

Complications can happen, however, are extremely rare. Our aesthetics team are medically trained to manage these complications.

The results from all procedures last anywhere from 3 months to 18 months, however, are all temporary.
There is a reversal procedure that can be administered for complications relating to cosmetic fillers (for example lip enhancement procedures).

Hyaluronic acid cosmetic fillers can be dissolved using an enzyme called Hyaluronidase. This enzyme naturally occurs in our skin but can be injected at higher concentrations in order to quickly (within 3-4 days) remove unwanted filler.
